The Incredible Edible Network launch their new website…

With our Incredible Edible Network Roots and Branches project, supported by the Big Lottery, in full swing, we can today announce the launch of our new website.

The project brings together the experience of our Regional Facilitators to support more Incredible Edible groups to begin all across the UK, and welcome them to our network of networks, whilst continuing to both support and learn from the 100+ groups already spinning our three plates. Community, learning and business is at the core of everything we do, and this website will support that work further and more meaningfully.

The website is made up of sections that support new groups to emerge and flourish, whilst supporting established groups to further their aims and continue to bloom. Our Toolshed will have two layers, firstly to support new groups and also to support further growth and development of existing groups. Our Talking Shop will allow users to see all the social media platforms of their local group or area, encouraging ongoing conversation that our Incredible Edible Network platforms can amplify. Our Market Place will tell tales of groups across the country, and the world, spinning those three plates and acting on their belief in the power of small actions.

Sara Venn, our south west facilitator and communications director, welcomed the new website and encouraged people interested in creating kind, confident and connected communities to sign up, “Whether you’ve been involved with Incredible Edible for years, or you’ve been wondering what you can do in your local community, our new website will support you to bloom and flourish in your community, leading to us all becoming a stronger and more powerful movement, empowering people to create their own community change”.

The website as you see it today is a starting point, and over the months and years it will grow and offer further support, advice and tell stories of both our Incredible Edible groups, of our Friends, organisations and others who we are working with, to support a kinder future for us all.
