Woops - left this a bit late! Working party in the garden this Saturday morning, 6th April. Now the greenhouses have been cleaned out we’ll be planting some seeds. If any tall men turn up (please, please) they could put the runner beans canes in. Still preparing some of the beds for planting. Hope you can join us.
This is the ‘before’ picture to go with Pam’s ‘after’ picture. You can see that they did a good job. In the process of Saturday mornings garden session we dug up a shed load of strawberry plants which had spread beyond their allotted space. I’ve potted a few up so if anybody would like some, help yourselves.Photos from Toddington Community Garden's postwww.facebook.com
We will be working in the garden on Saturday 2nd March from 10.30 till 12. Do come along and join in and help get the garden ready for this seasons growing. Many hands make light work and it’s much more fun when there is a good group. You don’t need to stay for the whole session. Just drop in when you can. We have now restarted the Friday evening sessions from 4 till 6 pm and this year we are looking to do a couple of hours on Wednesday afternoons from 2pm for those who cannot make the Friday sessions, so if that suits you please pop along if you can. It’s great for your health, both physical and mental. Give it a try!
